Monophasic synovial sarcoma of the ethmoid sinus

Sino-nasal synovial sarcomas are rare mesenchymal tumours, most arising primarily from the paranasal sinuses. Very few have been described with an extension to nasal cavity. Due a range of non-specific symptoms and local aggressiveness, diagnosis tends be confusing. Here we describe case primary sino-nasal monophasic sarcoma, diagnosed by histopathology treated excision adjuvant radiation therapy. On follow-up, patient had minimal residual disease was further offered revision surgery chemotherapy. She declined received chemotherapy, remains symptom-free date. A wide diagnoses should considered for masses since all tissue types coexist in this region.
